Ein Grund dafür ist, dass er einst am antarktischen Expeditionsprogramm ANT-XXIII/9 teilnahm, ein anderer, dass er sowieso meeresnah aufwuchs. [LBR][LBR]Im Resultat stellt er mit seinen Bildern vor allem „außergewöhnliche Landschaften“ dar, die dem Betrachter „die Kraft der Natur“ entgegenbringen sollen und den damit einhergehenden „Kontrast zum täglichen urbanen Leben“. Doch dann ist da auch noch eine andere Seite, wie es auf seiner Website heißt: Inspiriert von Science-Fiction-Themen und -Motiven hält er Ausschau nach Strukturen, die sich von ihrer Umgebung fremdartig, unnatürlich abheben.[LBR][LBR]In die Richtung dieser zweiten Kategorie gehen wohl auch jene neuen Fotografien, die er unter dem Titel „Spaceships“ veröffentlichte.
